Data we Collect
To facilitate the proper functioning of simusell.com, we collect and store the following information for participants (1) name, (2) email address, and (3) the group or class you are a participant in. For instructors, we also store their (4) full contact information including (4a) phone number, (4b) institution, and (4c) address information.
Data Collected by Third Parties
We do not store or collect any credit card information but rather use a third-party payment provider to process payments for us. At present, we primarily use Paypal, and secondarily Stripe. We also may use third-party web analytics services that may collect and store information about your browser, IP address, and usage behavior. This privacy policy does not cover any third-party data collection. Note that our servers are virtually hosted by a third party, at present Amazon Web Services, and that these third parties may have access to the data hosted.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use “cookies” or similar technologies to store your email address and/or username to facilitate repeated logins. We do so for no longer than 180 days after your last login. We also use cookies to facilitate third-party analytics of our website traffic patterns.

We employ industry standard data security tools to protect the data we collect from you. However, we make no guarantee to the safety and security of your data.
